I am a student at Adler University, studying Master of Counseling Psychology: Art Therapy. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at KPU in 2022. I am active in my community by working with young women in the downtown east side. My favourite form of art is embroidery, and painting, I love the repetitive aspect of it and how calming it can be and I love to go on nature walks with my cat!!
I am a graduate student in the Counselling Psychology: Art Therapy program at Adler University. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and printmaking, with a minor in psychology from Oregon State University in 2021. My main passions include art-making of all kinds and community care - outside of that - hiking, swimming, and trying new foods!
Hi, my name is Natasha. Art-making has always been a passion of mine and it has been a big part of my healing journey. Before I began studying art therapy at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute (VATI), I was involved in the field of global public health nutrition where I had the opportunity to engage with a variety of cultures across the world. At the same time, I had been working as a freelance illustrator and still do. My love for creative expression eventually brought me to consider a middle ground between my experiences and interests: guiding others to find health and healing through art-making.
"I am currently a student art therapist and hold both a BA and MA in Psychology. I am passionate about creativity and how it can be used to develop self-compassion, foster healing, and create connections with oneself and others. I am also actively engaged in the community working towards creating safe inclusive spaces for self-exploration through art."
My name is Jodie. I am a mother, educator, facilitator, and learner. I am a student art therapist working towards an Advanced Diploma at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. I am passionate about community building, personal wellness, and lifelong learning. I look forward to making self-love dolls with you soon.
