Hi, my name is Natasha. Art-making has always been a passion of mine and it has been a big part of my healing journey. Before I began studying art therapy at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute (VATI), I was involved in the field of global public health nutrition where I had the opportunity to engage with a variety of cultures across the world. At the same time, I had been working as a freelance illustrator and still do. My love for creative expression eventually brought me to consider a middle ground between my experiences and interests: guiding others to find health and healing through art-making.
"I am currently a student art therapist and hold both a BA and MA in Psychology. I am passionate about creativity and how it can be used to develop self-compassion, foster healing, and create connections with oneself and others. I am also actively engaged in the community working towards creating safe inclusive spaces for self-exploration through art."
