We are launching our very first social enterprise and we invite you to join us in this exciting new adventure!

As a new social enterprise, we are creating an online thrift shop experience for people in the community. Once we have secured experience and funds to move forward, we will open a physical shop to sell our gently used clothing, accessories and home decor.

All proceeds will go into providing free mental health programs for the community.

We offer our volunteers training, a fun environment, and opportunities for advancement.

We are looking for the following volunteers to fill the following positions:

Sorter

This job is for people with a good eye for quality clothing, shoes, purses, linen, etc. You take pride in picking only the best items to go out on the sales floor. Tasks include:

• Going through donations
• Checking merchandise for quality and condition
• Take photos, upload and categorize

Cashier

You are the first and last person a customer talks to when they come into our store room to purchase their items. You must be very friendly and have a wonderful smile! Experience working with cash is an asset. Tasks include:

• Greeting customers
• Assisting customers with cash-related transactions

Online Customer Service

You keep the online store looking great. You work with customers to ensure a smooth sales experience. We look for volunteers with an interest in great customer service. Tasks include:

• Posting photos, descriptions, and prices on the online store
• Responding to customer inquiries
• Updating the various online platforms with new items for sale

Online Store Maintenance

You keep the online store running smoothly and efficiently. You help with the overall maintenance of the store. Tasks include:

• Testing software
• Making sure the platform is running smoothly
• Addressing any IT-related issues
